Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Sunturn mobile game ("Sunturn", "the app") handles information. Sunturn is made by Furkan Kaya ("I", "me"). The short version: Sunturn has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your progress stays on your device. The only third party that receives data is Google, which serves the ads that keep the game free.

Information stored on your device

Sunturn saves your game progress locally on your device: completed levels, stars, the number of hints you have, your daily puzzle streak, sound settings, and a cache of generated levels. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to me. Deleting the app deletes it.

Information I collect

None. I do not run analytics, I do not operate a backend, and I do not collect your name, email address, location, contacts or any other personal information through the app. If you email me for support, I receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and I use it only to reply to you.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Sunturn shows ads using Google AdMob: an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch for extra hints. To serve and measure these ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect:

• Device and advertising identifiers (the IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; the Advertising ID on Android)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device information such as model, operating system and language
• Ad interactions, such as ads viewed and tapped
• Diagnostic and performance data for the ads

This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience (rated PG or lower).

Your choices

• Tracking on iOS. On iOS the app asks for permission before your advertising identifier can be used to show personalized ads. You can play the whole game if you decline, and you can change this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. If you are in a region where consent is required, the app shows Google's consent form before ads load. You can review or change your choices at any time with the shield button on the home screen.
• Android. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device).

Children

Sunturn is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support email, contact me and I will delete it.

Data retention and deletion

Game data lives only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to help you; you can ask me to delete them at any time. For data held by Google, see Google's privacy controls linked above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, KVKK or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. Because I do not hold personal data from the app, most requests concern Google's ad data, which you can manage through the choices above. For anything else, email me.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
